Been doing web searches to find out how to modify M:M Junction tables when Consulates change the US states they service and this works out just fine. I just wish my "state" combo box would do what I ask regarding sorting. I've ordered them my state name (but the subform only has the StateID and ConsulateID of the two joined tables so that sort order isn't available) but they are ordered by StateID instead. I guess I'll just leave it for now. Thanks for your simple walk through.
You could join your state table (with the full name) into a query and then sort by that query while still using the ID for the relationship.

Richard, You mention in your video to use the Junction Table as the Record Source for the continuous form. If I use a query would I still be able add and delete records?
Yup, instead of using the Consulate_States junction table, I created a Query to include this table and the tblStates.StateName and sorted on the tblStates.StateName field in query design. Viola! All set and am back in the race. I think I try to make things more complicated than they really are. Thanks again.
