You could join your state table (with the full name) into a query and then sort by that query while still using the ID for the relationship.

Yup, instead of using the Consulate_States junction table, I created a Query to include this table and the tblStates.StateName and sorted on the tblStates.StateName field in query design. Viola! All set and am back in the race. I think I try to make things more complicated than they really are. Thanks again.
