the value you entered isnt valid for this field for example, you may have entered text in a numeric field or a number that is bigger than the fieldsize setting permits.
Yea need a lot more to know where to even begin. More than likely you're pasting text into a field that is set to number as it's data type in the table.

I was following instructions in a beginner lesson. I had created 2 entries into my table and tried to paste the data from the lesson into my table.

Check your Data Types. Do they match up with what you are pasting?
For example, you can't paste Short Text in to a DateTime field.
