One more thing.  I've set the check height to 3.5" (which each check is), and the paper size to 8.5" x 11".  And when I say it only prints 2 checks, the print preview shows only 2 checks and not a second page.

With margins, unless you've adjusted them, its very likely it can only fit two 3.5s on one page. What is your filter/record source set to in the report?

And did you copy the settings from Check1up or Check3up? or just make it yourself?

Thanks Adam for your reply,
As to your first question, I tried resetting the size to 3 inches, and it returned only one check in the print preview.  Not sure what is meant by filter/record source.  In my record source in the query that the report is based on, (a check register) I removed all filters to see what would happen.  I selected all checks to print (9) and the print preview shows 4 checks to print, yet my register shows that all checks have been printed.  Weird, huh?

To answer your second question, I simply changed the setting to not to force a page.  I really appreciate your questions.  What I'm going to do next is to simply use Rost's CheckRegBatchPrintF from the template and see what happens.  I'll let you know.  I'm not working on this full time, it's only for personal use and I'm learning access just to keep my brain active in retirement.
Thanks again.
Nick
