Runtime Error 3075
Sveinn Oskar Sigurdsson

Keep getting Run-time error '3075' on this line:

CurrentDb.Execute "INSERT INTO CustomerT (FirstName, LastName, CustomerSince) " & _
        "VALUES (""" & FirstNameAdd & """, """ & LastNameAdd & """, #" & CustomerSinceAdd & "#)"

Please advice.

Ps. Added CustomerSinceAdd instead only CustomerSince, in your video came constantly same date and time when you entered in more customers at the end of you Extended verision. Thanks though. Really good stuff but I got stuck.

Yea I think it's supposed to be #" & CustomerSinceAdd & "# it should work after that, does it?

Richard could add a note to change that code in template?

Thx Adam. I'm sorry but it dose not. I have it exactly like he got it in the video except I used CustomerSinceAdd instead of CustomerSince. I have tried both but does still not work.  I wonder if some other matters need to be considered such as in Property Sheet, Allow Addition (Yes), Allow Deletion (Yes) etc.

If you manually substitute the values and paste it into the Query SQL window and run it, does it work?

You are correct that the field name should be CustomerSinceAdd in the code, however that doesn't change its functionality. I suspect you have some invalid data in there, or a field name spelled wrong, perhaps. Runtime error 3075 is usually a missing or bad (misspelled) parameter, but it could also be anything. It's one of those weird "catch-all" errors. Double-check all your field names and spellings. Compact and repair your database. See if MY database works on your system. Troubleshooter.
