Can't Connect to SQL Server
Despina Karayanni

Hello,
I'm a little bit in panic, cause I try to open the database, and while trying to connect to server, through the login autoexec form, I get the message "could not connect or no OR customer records".
How could I open the database and relink it to the SQL Server?
Thank you very much in advance.

Adam I believe that Despina was already connected to and using SQL Server (If memory serves correctly).

Despina - Is that a true statement?

If so was it working previously?  Have you checked with your ISP to see if any changes were made or if they are having issues?

Hello, through the SQL Management studio, I see my databases and tables on the Winhost server and function OK. Also, I've copied the backup database files (forms-queries-modules) on a new database, and when try to open any form I get the message "invalid use of null" and the debug marks in yellow the "qd.Connect = TempVars("ConnectStringNoPW". THe problem started after a sudden close of my Windows, when I was trying to make an ACCDE file. Do you think the problem might be with my .dsn file at the documents directory? Should I try to make a new .dsn file?

Hello, again, I made a new connection .dsn link of the forms files with the SQL database tables. However, when I try to open a form, e.g. the customer form, I get the same message: "invalid use of null" and the debug marks in yellow: "qd.Connect = TempVars("ConnectStringNoPW"). Any help will be mostly appreciated, cause practically, I have no database.

Hello again, after a dramatical evening, and several server connection efforts, finally, the database restored by itself, step by step. Thank you very much for your attention.
