hi
small question regarding joining properties, i think when you joined the first relationship (lead source) as left join, it must be technically the second relationship ( shipping ) also set left join. i think we cannot mix the properties for joining relationships.

Hi there. To which lesson are you referring, specifically, and at what time index? Help me out here... this course is about 10 years old. :)

I just re-watched it, and the video is correct. You have to set up an outer (left) join between customers and lead sources, AND ALSO customers and shipping methods. That's what I did.

yes i am with you

can you set one left join ( for example between customers and lead sources ) and the other one ( customers and shipping methods ) as equal ?

or no , we cannot have one left join and the other one equal ?

You can set on join to outer (Left) and the other to inner (equal) but if you are missing a value, for example ShippingID, then your query will be missing those records with the missing value.

They're always EQUAL. They have to match in both tables. The difference with an outer join is that it says "show this record even if there is NO match." Watch Outer Joins.
