Access Database Cloud

Fantatic, I have been struggling on how to share my database with other territory reps and the boss easily. This looks to be the solution.
Thank you Richard.

It's fantastic otherwise I wouldn't promote it. I've looked at other virtual PC / remote cloud solutions before. In fact I played with a couple of them, including AWS from Amazon, and nothing comes close to the ease and speed of Access Database Cloud. It's fantastic. Almost no setup time too.

This is great Richard, I got your SQL server online and was able to setup my tables on the server linked to my FE database but it was very slow and some forms even crash the database if you try to access them. I was waiting for the part 2 of that seminar as you said you are considering making a part 2 so I can learn more on how to optimise my FE. I have continued to share my database over our local LAN but its still quite slow on other pcs but works well on mine. II'I still like to go with the SQL server route but the Access Database cloud is a fantastic temporary solution for me now and would have been great permanently if not that I also want my website linked to my database in future.

Thanks Richard, LLNP

I'll have more SQL Server training coming up soon. You can connect the Cloud database to SQL Server as well. Just move the data that you want on the web site over to SQL Server. I do that. I use action queries to update both sets of tables.

Hello Richard,
Can you give us a short example (video) of how exactly we may do this? Thank you very much.

Yep. Like I said, I'll be putting together a video on SQL Server Express very soon.
