Shell Exec

I would like to know is there a way to have the shell exec function that opens a folder in MS with particular settings.  For example, have it open a file like C:\File Location\File Name and have the files in that folder extra-large sorted by Name in ascending order or in list format sorted by date in descending order?

Not an easy way, you'd expect you could but
Sure this was asked on the forums a while back, might take a while to find it.

5 years ago, post.

My memory isn't going :p

Did the previous suggestions not work?

I  dont think I got an answer on those previous posts.  My external hard drive doesn't seem to hold the settings I want the folder to stay in.
