In B8 lesson 6 discusses putting a search combo box in the form header. I have been following along building the DB from B1 with no problems, but this simple one has got me stumped: After putting the combo box in the header and adjusting, I saved and exited design view. double clicked ContactF and got the form with no header and no combo box. I did some trouble shooting a few things and closed Access and started again. Still no header. Any ideas?

Sounds like you turned on the Page Header/Footer instead of the Form Header/Footer.

Bingo, good call. Thanks Kevin! I thought I had clicked on form header in the beginning. Sometimes the most obvious escapes me.
