Monthly Interest Calculation

Hi,

i am looking at the loan amortization template 2.0 - introduction for new users. When I check the example provided, it talks to calculating interest rate per annume (e.g. 6 percent per annum. How would the underlying calculations change if the interest rate was calculated on a monthly basis?

Refiloe your best bet is to download the Free test copy and play with it. That will show you what it does and should answer your question.

Be aware that both the Seminar (For V1) and the Templates for both V1 and V2 involve a lot of VBA.
Neither of these are "Teaching Databases" like the rest of the TechHelp and Courses. If you need to make changes or customize it for your own needs that would be up to you. Other than problems with the db itself, there is no support included for customization.

You just have to adjust the parameters of the PMT function. See Access Loan Calculator.
