I wouldn't even use that old source code. I'm going to start experimenting with TwinBasic soon. Maybe I'll rebuild it in that.

I think TwinBASIC is a step backwards. It is very similar to VB6 with less features and properties (I'm sure more will be added in the future). For example: Labels, Check Boxes and Option Buttons don't have a BackStyle property to switch between Transparent and Opaque. Hopefully this will be added soon.

It does however have a better (in my opinion) color palette for BackColor and ForeColor than VB6 had.

I am having a blast playing with the IDE but for me .NET is far superior.

I'm sure .NET is superior, but I'm trying to find a good simple replacement for VB6 that I can teach noobz programming with. Visual Studio is just so complicated for beginners. I really miss VB6 for that reason only.

Plus how complicated can a video player be? I built my last one in a few hours.
