Barcode Inventory Seminar

I have been following the access barcode inventory seminar to create a inventory system at my company. I have everything working well, except I am stumped on how to have quantities change on multiple tables for sending inventoy out and receiving inventory. I need to use invoice numbers on all incoming items, so each time I receive a shipment I have a new quantity received and quantity in hand which adds to the total. I can not figure out a way to have the quantity in hand total be reduced when an order is marked as shipped which should reduce the quantity in hand, but since there are multiple entries to a running total, I am not sure how to make that happen.. My tables are set up a little differently than the ones you made in the seminar because I had made them beforehand and inputed a lot of data. I just made minor adjustments to my code and queries to make everything else work.
It would be great if someone could point me in the right direction, I can also send my database if it would help better understand the issue or make it easier to solve the problem.
Thanks

Basically I have two separate forms with different kinds of quantites that are being controlled by two different queries, that are linked to two different tables. Im guessing it can be done with some coding, but I have no idea where to even start with it. This is the last thing that I need to make my database functional, I am willing to pay for help or the code that would make this work.

This is a bit advanced for me, but you might get a quicker response with some screenshots and bullet points. See Forum Posting Rules Rule 9. Nothing specifically wrong but making the post more reader friendly might get a more favourable reply.

Its very rare the guys will have time to work on individual projects. Rather than just fixing a problem, its better to teach so you can resolve yourself next time round.
