In lesson 2: Changing Email Domains, the data type of the email address field shown on the video is a hyperlink but with my own file, I have it as a short text because that what Richard has suggested from his NEWER video Access Beginner Level 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uJ49wjcd_Dw&t=1109s
But since this lesson is from the OLDER video, it still used the hyperlink. So, I should I change the data type to hyperlink, now? If I do, would that break any of the queries, forms, and reports I have made so far? If I keep it as a short text, would that cause problems with future lessons ahead?
Keep it as short text. I stick by my new line of thinking... Avoid hyperlinks. If you run into any problems, just post em here and we'll figure it out.
