How are you calculating what alerts to show?
Is there a list in a table?

It kind of depends on your db structure and work flow.
Are the notifications a set of "standard" popups?
What would be the trigger that would cause them?
Are you trying to have them automatically triggered based on certain criteria - or is this chosen by a user?

It would help if you could provide a bit more detail.  Even to the point of screenshots or even a mock up of what you would like to see.

Many thanks for your reply's. The warnings are based on due dates, sometimes in advance. The code was not written at the same time, but built up as I discovered the need for warnings. I don't know how to attach screen shots, but here's some of the code.
