Send Email via Remote Desktop

I downloaded the TechHelp Free Template database and it worked beautifully on my regular desktop but when I pasted it onto my work Remote Desktop I receive an error message.  Apparently, the Remote Desktop is missing the reference "Microsoft Outlook 16.0 Object Library'.  Is it possible to add the Library to a Remote Desktop or is there a workaround?

Does the remote desktop PC have Outlook installed?

I don't think that template REQUIRES Outlook for anything, so you should just be able to remove the reference and everything should work OK.

It's funny because I don't have the Outlook library selected in MY copy of the template...

Thanks!   Yes, Remote Desktop has Outlook installed and Microsoft Office 16.0 Access database engine Object is selected. The error message I see now is Compile Error - User-defined type not defined.  Dim O As Outlook.Application is highlighted.

PS.  I added the code to your copy of the template.

So... did you get it working?

No. However, I misspoke.....Outlook is not installed on Remote Desktop.  I'll follow up with our IT dept to get Outlook Installed, if possible. Thank you!

Yeah, you'll need it for that. However, in the Access Email Seminar I show a method where you can send direct to any SMTP server without Outlook - including GMail.
