Sure thing, so I was trying to put an unbound box to count the number of characters in my note field (long text).  In the video that describes what you need to do in order to continuously count the number of characters is that you have to put [fieldname].text because the default is .value.  I don't even get the option to put select ".text" it only allows ".value".  If I try to type it in I get an error, I will submit a picture.

Is EntryNotes the Control Source or the Field Name?
