Second level Category

Hello, Yes I would be interested in Part two. My question is that I would like to have a second layer of categories for expenses. For example, I would like to categorize an expense as food, but I also would like to keep track if I am buying groceries or if I am going out to dinner. What I would like to have is a drop-down menu for the main category and then be able to pick a subcategory that pertains to that main category. Any suggestions will be helpful. Thank you.

George I'm curious how you handled it.
Posting what you did might help others who venture here in the future.

I usually find that two levels of categories are more than enough for something like a simple expense tracker. Have a parent level "Meals & Entertainment" and then you can separate into subcategories if you want to. Groceries. Dining Out. Door Dash for the fifteenth time this week. You know... :)
