Scott had asked "I want to modify the table names to not use those name because of the issues involved with programming as well as macros.  Is there a way to trace through where those fields are in use?", at which point Richard said he was making a video, and Juan said it was one of his best!  Can you tell me which video it is because I have a 14 year old database I'd like to redo.

Dang it - somehow I just deleted my own post.  I thought I was editing it.

Anyway too long a response to re-type.  Basically what I said is 1. Richard hasn't made that video you're referring to and , 2. there are mixed responses and questions in both my comment and Juan's that were not relevant to the Bang! v Dot. video,

I have absolutely no idea what you guys are talking about. But... sounds like a good video to make. I'll add it to the list. :)

Richard this post was in reference to THIS POST

I had posted:
Problem:  The person that created the db I'm working to upgrade didn't take any of your courses.  They used field names such as Date, Time, Update, etc.

Question: I want to modify the table names to not use those name because of the issues involved with programming as well as macros.  Is there a way to trace through where those fields are in use?

It confused me at first too.  I really had to read carefully to know what Sandra was talking about.

This thread is now CLOSED. If you wish to comment, start a NEW discussion in Bang! v Dot..
