Check Demo: Template
Transfer works to another Account.
However, it is completely removed from the sending Account.
It should not delete the sending Account Record????
Thanks
Werner

Sorry, I don't understand the question. Can you elaborate?

OK, you have three accounts. A Checking account, a Petty Cach and a Savings Account.
I am now at the Savings Account and make a transfer to the Checking Account I entered $500.00 into the DEBIT Field.
I Then Selected the Checking Account from the Payee Combo. The entry I Just made disappeared. So as if there never was an
Entry made! The Savings Account never changed and it should have kept that Record as a Debit amount.
I went to the Checking Account and the transaction came in as a DEBIT amount. That is wrong. It should be CREDIT amount.
There is NO code that does the Transfer correctly.
Best Regards
Werner
Thank You

Is this in the stock template or did you modify it?

Dear Mr. Rost, I am wondering if there is an update to the above template with the transfer working, or will it be available?

Sorry Werner, I haven't had a chance to look at it. We just had a major hurricane here in SW Florida and I have been way behind schedule, but it is on my to do list. I'll try to get to it as soon as I can.

Good morning, Richard, I see that my posts are going to be removed in 5 days.
Will I still get an answer to my question after the deletion of the posts?
Thanks
Werner

Hi Werner. Who told you your posts were going to be removed? I never remove old posts from the Forums. I haven't had a chance to get to your issue yet, though, but thank you for reminding me.

I just built a popup form that opens when 'Transfer' is selected on CheckRegF. It works really well.
It sets the values in the form of the account currently being viewed and sets the values in the table of the account receiving the transfer.

To Kevin Robertson, I thank you for your reply to my problem. However, I am not able to recreate the form you have created.
I am not a Pro and at 83 I do not intend to spend much time on developing software.
However, maybe I will get the correct code somehow.
With best regards
Thank You   Werner Mildt

Hi Richard, I am trying to copy a record in my Detail File as a NEW Record and I can't get it to work. I do not want to copy
The Parent File. Since I have so many repeating entries it would be so much easier with a Copy Button.
Also, I would like to be able to after I have selected Filtered Data To only tag the Filtered Data, Either by way of a Button or
Code while the filtered data is selected.
Thanks, Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
