widows orphans video

Thank you so much for all your wonderful content. In this video, at around 4:49 I get confused. When you're explaining what needs to be made required, you say to make the primary key in the order table, which is the foreign key in the order detail table, a required field. but earlier in the video, you show the work being done to the foreign key field in OrderDetailT. so it seems that the change to required field is done in the subform table, with the foreign key- not on the parent table with the primary key. the primary key in the parent table is an auto-number, can't make it required, but it's always generated automatically.
thanks for clarifying

Rachel I see where you might be confused.  There are times where Richard speaks pretty darn fast AND he is jumping back and forth talking about both the OrderT and OrderDetailT.     LOL

Back up to about 4:00.
To say this in a different wording:
For the Many side of the Relationship, in this case the OrderDetailT, the Foreign Key - OrderID in the OrderDetailT needs to be made required.

OrderID is the Primary Key in the OrderT, that is what makes the relationship.  That, as you correctly mentioned, is automatically required because it is an autonumber in the OrderT table.

Hope that helps!
