Hebrew Calendar

How would I include the Hebrew date for LifeEvent? Would I create an alternate LifeEvent Table or just add an additional Field & Data Type in LifeEventT? I want to also be able to sort by HebrewDate.

I'd just add an additional field if you want that against each event.

Hi Tzvi,

If you will have a field type Date/time this will not be translated to a Hebrew date, if you would like the Hebrew day for information only you should have a separate Short text field, but if you are looking to sort by the Hebrew date or work arround with the days entered you will need to have a Hebrew date function which you will need to source the VBA code, and understand how it works,
I have seen a few Hebrew date functions with tons of lines of code some are useless and some are good but you really need to understand what they wrote!!

All the best!

Thank you. I realized the same thing, so I created a Hebrew Month Table and a Hebrew Day Table, with their ID being their value, such as Nissan=1, Sivan=2 & Alef=1, etc. In this way, I can sort via the ID rather than the Value. Thanks.

have in the LifeEventT 3 Fields all numbers and linked to the following tables
YearT
MonthT From Nissan to Adar 2nd - for a leap year
And DayT from 1 to 30
Then have a combo box inside your LifeEvent Form to choose on each record the day, then extra for the Month then Extra for the year!
