I have followed Developer 32 lesson one I have everything working other than my existing folders and any I have copied from other locations do not appear in the folder list box when I click the Dir button. If I delete a folder and then create it again the new folder appears. Can anyone advise why this could be happening as I have loads of existing folders which I really don't want to have to delete and re-create.

Are your existing folders possibly hidden?

Hi Richard No I checked to see if they were hidden or read only and both boxes are unchecked I also checked the security properties and gave full control to all users but that didn't make a difference Regards Carl

I'm stumped. Never seen that before. Has to be something with the folder attributes.

Yeah I thought that but can't for the life of work out what. If I create a folder with the FSO.CreateFolder and then copy and paste that to another place and use the dir button from D31 it shows that but if I copy any existing folders it doesn't show them
