I need your help please, I have incorporated your Text to Speech code in my Genealogy Database. I use it to read some of my long notes. I am getting "long in the tooth now" and I find this very helpful. BUT I would like to know the code to stop this speech when I need to and restart the speech, can you please help?

You mean interrupting the speech once you've already sent it to the function? I don't think that's possible. If you just want to prevent it from speaking sometimes, you could put a "silence voice" checkbox on your Main Menu form and then check that inside the function that processes the speech...

If Forms!MainMenuF!SilenceSpeech Then Exit Sub
Speek "whatever text here"

Something like that.
