Is there much of a difference between what you show for SQL Server and MySQL (linking and re-linking tables)? I'm looking to move some of the company databases to the internet (long ways off) and was thinking of using MySQL (it's free and I have more experience with it) and initially using MS Access as the front end but eventually using a web site (HTML and PHP) as a front end.
I really can't tell you because I have extremely limited experience with MySQL. And while SQL Server isn't free you can get web-based hosting with it for under $10 a month.
