Zip DBs Before Backing Up

Hello,

Is there a zip or compression function available that I can use to compress my front and back end in conjunction with the backup procedures from the back up lesson?

Not natively - No. You could use the Shell command with any Zip - Compression program that supports command line interface. I use 7-Zip (free) and it does quite well. I haven't interfaced it yet with my Access but it shouldn't be to difficult. See: Access Open Programs Seminar
