Lesson 2: 3m3s I replaced type = -32768 to 1 in order to make a list of tables.
According to Lesson 2:6m20s, the 1 would make a local table.
But when I run the query, I got extra gibberish characters (circled in red).
Why is that?

Just add criteria so they are not displayed in your query results.
SELECT DISTINCT [Name] FROM MSysObjects
WHERE [Type] = 1 AND Not ([Name] Like "MSys*" Or [Name] Like "~*") And [Flags] <> -2146828288
ORDER BY [Name]

Thanks Kevin, it works!
Also, I found that I can't make a "list box" directly from the query. Probably because it has a field called "Name" but name is a reserved keyword. I have to make a "make table query", rename the field from name to like TableName and then feed the new table to the list box.
