I cannot even begin to express how much I LOVE this video!  I've already added it to my database that I use to track my expenses for my tax return!  Perfect timing.

Richard, In case you are interested, I can still hear your typing on your keyboard. Other than that, the audio is very good.

I agree Sandra. I love the techniques used in the video and even though I have heard of the Eval function, I have never actually used it. YET! I can see this being very useful.

No matter what I do I can't seem to get rid of that keyboard thumping. The mic is on a boom between my mouth and the keyboard so unless I switch back to my headset I don't know how to get rid of that noise. And I really don't wanna go back to my headset. I'm glad you like the lesson though. This is something that I added to my database out of necessity when I switched from using Excel to Access for my account balances. Yes, even I usually start building things in Excel first and use them for a couple of months and then switch them over to Access.

I just listened to parts of the video again myself and just using my laptop speakers I can't really hear much of the typing. Are you listening with headphones for example?

Richard, yes I am listening with a headset. Otherwise my grandson drowns you out!  LOL  I'll try again to adjust the controls it to see if that helps.

Could you dampen the sound by putting a light pad of some sort under the keyboard?  Just a thought.

What do you mean by under the keyboard? It's a laptop. The sound is of the keys being pressed. I just have to remember to type more lightly, I suppose.

OK so under the laptop then.  The sound I detect sounds more like it's coming from the desk / table that the keys itself.
Of course you have to keep in mind I'm pretty deaf in the first place, so what I do hear doesn't really bother me in the first place.
