In Lesson 1 I have copied DiscountRate from CustomerF to OrderF with default value =[Forms]![CustomerF]![DiscountRate] and the discount rate reflects on a new record on OrderF.
However, when I copy DiscountRate to OrderDetailsF with =[Forms]![OrderF]![DiscountRate] DiscountRate will not reflect the discount on a new record , still 0.0%. I deleted the field, compacted/repaired closed and reopened, and still no luck.
Any suggestions before I drop back to another copy?
Thanks - Mike M

Please stand down - I figured it out. In OrderDetailT Design View I had DiscountRate as Integer. I changed it to reflect DiscountRate in OrderT which is Double, and now DiscountRate in OrderDetailF reflects properly what is in OrderF. Thanks.
