Access Fiscal Year Seminar

I've re-watch the seminar. It does not answer my question.  I have a query that generates data for each Fiscal Year.  I need to run a report the month after the end of the last Fiscal year that shows the ending balance on the last date. I can put a criteria for the fiscal year I want to select manually but I need to do this automatically.  So the criteria needs to select only data from the previous Fiscal Year.  I think I will need to do two queries.  First on to automatically select last fiscal year data. The second to select the Balance on the last date in the fiscal year.  The first query is my issue, can't seem to find a way to do it automatically.
