Updating An Incorrect Form

I have two forms; PurchaseOrderF and SupplierListF.
The PurchaseOrderF can be opened and the SupplierListF is linked to "List items Edit Form". Everything works properly when I add a new supplier in the SupplierListF and updates the PurchaseOrderF SupplierID combo box.
The problem is I would like to use the SupplierListF in other locations as well. If the user opens both forms separately the PurchaseOrderF is updated to the active supplier record after closing the SupplierListF. This is causing incorrect purchase order supplier IDs.

Is there a way to only change the combo box that the list items edit was opened from?

I would make the List Items Edit Form Modal (Form Properties - Other tab - Set Modal to Yes). That way the user can't do anything else in the database until that form is closed so the correct Combo Box is updated.

Thank you for the quick reply.

I did try that, but the problem is, for example, if the user opens the PurchaseOrderF on PO#1, then from another form opens the SupplierListF to view suppliers or make an edit; when they close the supplier form, it will edit it the PO#1 even though they did not want to. That's because the "on unload" function is set to update the currently open PurchaseOrderF regardless to the PO#.
