General Question

I watched your video on entering a math equations in access fields like you can excel. It was a great video and a huge help. I have 2 questions. Is it possible to do this with a currency field. I followed the video it worked but when I switched the field to currency it gives me an error. 2nd question, I am using it in a data sheet subform with multiple lines and it changes all of the records for each line in the subform. So is there something I need to do in the coding?

Is it possible to do this with a currency? Yes  2nd question can you provide a snap shot of your screen so we can help.  maybe some of the code also.  just reading this with out the code or pictures it will be hard to jgive a correct solution only posibility.   As for question 1 try using the
Convert Currency and see if this will help.  2nd question lets work on this.

Juan, here is a screen shot. The total button is the field I will use to populate. I will add the other field to add the numbers in and show in the total button. I got the total button to show currency but not the button I used to add in however after watching Richard video again. I see that it needs to be a text field which I can make work.
The 2nd questions is the one that I cannot get to work. Hopefully the screen shot helps to explain.

Can you check the property on the subform and see if it is set to Continuous Forms? if this dont work then I iwll need to see the subform in design view and property sheet.  I think this is where you may have an issue but still not sure.  so lets try again.

Yes the subform is set to continuous form. I have attached a picture of the subform in design view and the property sheet.

OK do you have a defaault value?  if you add another record what does change? another thing to look at is the link between the main form and subform. Subforms or Select in Subform.
Try looking at the videos and see if this will work I will look at what I got I know I did the same thing you did just cant remenber.  keep trying I know its fustrating but cant hit the ball if you dont swing the bat.... let me know if this helped or if we need to keep looking the next item if it dont is to look at the code.
