Recently opened records list

I have a database with 150 records. I access these records through a form. On that form, I'd like to have a continually updated list, in a combo box, of the last 10 records I viewed using the form. Then, on selecting an item in that combo box, I'd like to go to that record in the form. I'd like the list to be remembered across sessions.

What is a good way to accomplish this?

Could create a table.
Add 10 records
Then each time you visit a record update the table with the RecordId and date time, then find the last updated and increase the Item # by 1, wrapping back to 1 if it's 10.

Alternative, most visited.
I'd create a table that I store when a record has been accessed.
So if you have a button that opens the record or double click event add an extra INSERT/UPDATE query for that Id. Increase the counter.
You can then create a query, ORDER BY count DESC and do a TOP 10 on it.
