I have had good results asking ChatGPT to look at code and recommending ways to optimize it.  ChatGPT is also good for optimizing SQL queries in Access.

The thing to remember about ChatGPT is that it remembers your entire conversation within a chat session/thread, so you don't have to worry about asking the "perfect question" to get the "perfect answer".  Give ChatGPT enough information to get it to understand your intent, get the chat started, and treat it more like a conversation, and you will have a better experience.

If ChatGPT gives you advice on an approach or code that you don't like or don't understand. Ask it to explain parts.  If it gives you steps in a numbered list, you say things like "Can you provide more details for #3?" Or "are there other approaches that I can use that don't use <whatever>?"
