Looking Up This Last Year

Hey Guys, I have an "Customer History" form that displays information about the Customers Activities. Problem I ran into is, how to Lookup the Number of Estimates Created "This Year and Last Year". I was thinking about 'DMax' the 'Estimate Date' and 'DateDiff' the Estimate Date Year. What is the best way the achieve this correctly?

Side by side so to speak? Or just all together? take a look at the Month-Over-Month video. Would also work for years.

I would use DCount to get the number of estimates per customer.
Something like this (in a query):

thisYear: DCount("*", "TableName", "CustomerID=" & CustomerID & " And Year(myDate)=" & Year(Date()))

lastYear: DCount("*", "TableName", "CustomerID=" & CustomerID & " And Year(myDate)=" & Year(Date())-1)

Just replace TableName with the name of your table and replace myDate with the name of your date field.
