Richard I just watch you TechHelp on Access Splash screens. You may know this (the TechHelp was 2 years old) but it is not too hard to accomplish.

First you open paint and create a bitmap file that is 1 pixel by 1 pixel. Save the bmp file. Then copy the bmp file to the same directory that the accdb file is. Once copied there rename the bmp file so that it is the same as the accdb file. For example I have a MusicDatabase.accdb. I just renamed the bmp file to MusicDatabase.bmp and save. Click on the accdb file and wallla, the Access splash screen is gone!
