Richard, I have been trying FOREVER to get rid of that stupid ribbon on print preview, and now I feel like an idiot because it is so easy to do. All about the leggos! Thank you for showing how to do this.

The Northwind developer database shows customized ribbons, including the print preview ribbon. But it's a very cumbersome thing to achieve, one that involves modifying a hidden system table with lengthy XML code, as shown in the picture below, which is actually 7 pages long.

Richard, if you figure it out, I sure hope you share!

Kevin, I'm not sure I'd trust myself to make those changes, but thanks for sharing.

Just FYI, I had a custom Tab that I had to disable, or it would still cause the repots to have the Ribbon opened, even with Print Preview disabled. I decided I would rather do without my custom Tab, than deal with the ribbon being opened when reviewing my reports.

Yeah... modifying hidden system tables is something I try to avoid.
