Hello Richard,

I think I found a mistake in the video or I would say something is missing.
I struggled for a long time with the problem when the my value is Zero (Null in german) an I mean realy zero nor empty like "". The my function always leads to an error
MyLen(NULL) => error because my Varaiable S is defined as a string.
I have solved this problem with the NZ functin bevor I call MyLEN
=> MyLen (Nz(Value))

Is this correct? What do you think about this? I wondering why you dont have this problem... have you defined a default value empty like "" ??

Without really looking into your specific problem, I've seen tons of errors from access in other countries. Sometimes it's access, usually it's the windows machine local region settings that tell it how to handle and calculate everything. Normally the fix is just to manipulate it to give you what you want, whether that be something like using NZ, format, CCur/Cdate/etc..
