Reports in Genealogy Database

Hey Richard, I am trying to create a report in your "Genealogy" database that includes both Birthdate and Date of Death all at once. I know that you have cover this in a "TechHelp" video, but I can not remember which one. Can you refresh my memory?

What do you mean all at once?
Can you share an example.

The Birthday and the Death date are under one table [LifeEventT]. Like a Helper Table. When I try to get both the Birth date and the Death date on the same report or query, I get two dates that are the same for each person. I will send a few attachments.

The criteria of 1 in the LifeEventTypeID field is saying only show records for that ID (Births).
The screenshots below show one way to set this up to show both births and deaths..

You have a comma (,) between [PersonFullNameQ] and [PersonID]. It should be a period (.)

You are missing most of the quotes. Did you watch the DLookup video?

This is the correct syntax:
Birth: DLookUp("LifeEventDate","LifeEventT","PersonID=" & [PersonFullNameQ].[PersonID] & " And LifeEventTypeID=1")

Thanks Kevin, That worked.
