I tried to combine the filter report and search form, as I want to use the search form as filter to generate the report.

I can do this successfully if using a query and set the report's data source as the query.

But the query is not the best query, so I followed the SQL instructions in the extended cut of the search form 2.0 to redesign how I search in the form.  After I redesigned it, and set the report's data source back to the table where the form is linked to, I'm unable to generate a filtered report.  The orderby codes work, but the filter codes don't.

Where might I be wrong?  Any advice?
