Morning, is there a way to format the standard VBA MsgBox without creating my own Yes No Buttons
e.g. MsgBox ("Flag for QC", vbYesNo) - I would like the message box to have Bold red text and a light red background for example

You can't format the built in Message Box like that. Richard does show how to build a Universal Dialog Box in Access Developer 11 and Access Developer 12 where you have full control over the formatting.

MsgBox's appearance is controlled by Windows and can't be changed. In Access, you need to create a form with your own buttons and messages to act as a custom message box, then hide or show it when you see fit. This is a common technique used in practically all the programming environments I've seen -- because the built-in message box in any programming language is often primitive.
