export resets primary key nums Upload Images   Link   Email

Is there a resolution to what Adi posted?  I'm seeing the same result. I have a table with deleted records so the primary key autonumber is not continuous across the records in that table.  When I export the table to SharePoint, the primary keys on the SharePoint become sequential, but it breaks my query and I'm getting an empty dataset from the query.  Any ideas?

The VBA code found in the last reply at the link below worked great and saved me a couple of days of effort.  I had to fiddle with the lblmaxvalue reference and resolved that by making sure that referenced pointed to a named label on the form.  Hope this helps .

Sorry for taking so long to get back to you on this one, but that's something I've never seen before. To be honest, I don't work with SharePoint on a day-to-day basis, as it's not my expertise. I just put together the seminar to show you how to get your Access information into SharePoint so you can use it as a back end. I'm sure there are a lot of intricacies and nuances that I'm not familiar with. I much prefer SQL Server as a backend.
