The erroneous field name may be in places you can't search, such as below.  You may have to manually look through them, unfortunately:

- SQL statements in queries.
- Expressions entered in property sheets of forms/reports.
- Expressions entered in control sources on forms/reports.
- Macros.

Hi Nathan
Can you describe how you encountered the error? John

Thank you for responding.  I wrote a lot of VBA code.  At one point I wrote a select statement in query.  I put in my select statement a "171" as a PassID.  I took it out and put a * in.  After that it appeared.  It would not run the program with that error.  So I did some copying and pasting and created another program with the same code.  It disappeared.  So the program does to some degree run.  With bugs and cosmetics which I have to fix.

I got the code transferred to new DB.  I copied the table and then renamed it to the old file. My 100 records did not copy over.  So  I created about 10 records to test it.    It did not copy my 100 sample records.  So I have to hunt for backup and put it thru excel and back into Access.

So,  Thank you for responding.  I am retired.  So I have time pro se to do trial and error.  I have backups on Flash drives.
