I am trying to create a ticketing database for my Engineering Department. the problem I am having is that engineers are assigned to tickets by me or someone in the department by using a dropdown box and selecting the Engineers from an engineer table. I am trying to create a "My Assigned tickets query from the engineer login after I have set the EmployeeName "Will Marlar" as a tempvar along with several other tempvars that set after login. when the querey runs it should use Tempvars!employeename.value as the default value... but because the assigned engineer field is a list box it does not work. then the query produces no records. how do I copy the engineer assigned to another field in the table that is text and not a chosen from list event so that I can query against it by employee name?
