I Just the last couple of days cleaning up data in my main Form (it is connected to 11 other tables). I finally got to a point where I established one-to-many relationship and referential integrity to all the tables -a lot of bad data in the main table(Foreign Keys). Anyway it all looked good and my form all open with no problem.
I then discovered that I could not add new records. I checked all the table and Queries - non were set as being required. But the only way I could inter a record was to put some data into every field except notes. Since not all records use all fields this was not the answer.
So I removed the referential Integrity from all Relationships and reestablished basic relationship.
Everything works fine now. Am I missing something about Referential Integrity. I would be happy share specific information and files if anyone wants to look deeper. I am at a Loss.
I am retired now and build databases for friends who want to track specific things in there lives. What Movies or what TV Series or what Audiobooks you listened too.
