First, let me say it's possibly due to I'm running Access 2016 but when I try this on my form I receive a The command or action 'Copy' isn't available now. I have a form that once I fill the fields with criteria it formats a paragraph for an Document that I usually copy and paste manually

Did you move the focus to that field first? `FirstName.SetFocus` Then your copy command. Is it a field that CAN accept the focus? Can you manually click on it?

I am so sorry, I confused the two posts I had placed in the last few days. Rick on the Copy t clipboard issue, yes I can click in the box. but Darn what I set.focus on wat the button by mistake not the textbox. It works now. could you delete the 3 posts right after yours. thanks for catching my error. Now on to the color dialog on, I'll keep searching. Thanks
