Hi Richard
Is it possible for the function to deal with payments that are not monthly? I have some that are 4 weekly and yearly. Silver membership for example.

DateAdd Function

here is a good video
after viewing it you will be able to add 28 days for the 4 weeks or add 4 weeks.   Your leggos. :)

Hi Juan
Thank you, I am aware of that Function and have used it in the past, and I will revisit that video. It was just since I had built this function I was wondering if 4 weeks could be incorporated within it
Regards
Len

look at the items you can work with with in the dateadd function.

ValueExplanation
yyyyYear
qQuarter
mMonth
yDay of the year
dDay
wWeekday
wwWeek
hHour
nMinute
sSecond

if you use WW it will work fine.

You will need to add a Frequency table to determine when the payment is due (every 4 weeks, every year etc,).
Add the FrequencyID (Foreign Key) to the BillT.
I would probably store the date of the last payment instead of just the day of the month.
You will need to rewrite the Function to take the frequency of the payments into consideration.

Richard this might make a good follow-up video.

I believe I already covered this in Next Appointment.

Hi All
Thanks for all your input. I added frequency to my table and since there were only 3 choices used Switch and DateAdd in my Query. Works perfect. I could have done this in the first place! but I got involved with the Tech Help video and lost my way. Guess it's my Age!! Thanks again
Len
