Hi you all, I prepare an access database for a client but I asked a Share Drive for install the access files.  However they create a share point files.  I have no idea how to installed there.  Do you have a video where instruct the process of this installation?

So you originally wanted a file server that was accessible by many so you could use a split FE/BE setup?

Let's start.  I prepare a database with security access similar to the seminar of Security.  To launch the database the IT people create folder at a Share Point.  How can I load the database in order to the team can used?

SharePoint isn't the best place to house an Access db.
It would mean people would have to download it, make changes, then re-upload it, they're be conflict galore.
I moved this the SharePoint Seminar page so you can see an alternative to using a SharePoint List as your Table and then each user could have a Front End version of Access on their local machine.
That has its own complexities.

Hi yall, After I did the share point conversion I copy my front end file to my desktop. Eliminate the old tables link for the Share Point one.  I have now an error with one query that indicate: "The specified field "[Created]" could refer to more than one table listed in the FROM clause of your SQL statement." How can I fix this?

Hi Leo
You need to do some investigation, is the field created a field in any of the tables or queries inside of this query that is giving the error?
Does it exist in more than one table? Is it a foreign key?

It is impossible to answer the question with the information you gave us.

Just alias the table and reference it via that.

SELECT c.Created FROM CustomerT c '

Good idea! What I did was create a new calculated field using the Created info.  Example "DeterminationDate: Created" then change all the calculated field that use Created for DeterminationDate.  I appreciate your help.
