I would like to run a query on a table that will search for records that has a certian year field and export them to a seperate table, remove from current table and export to a seperate database for archiving. Is this hard to do? I would like to make a buttin since the user would not have access to any export wizards. Any help would be great.

Brent, this is exactly the focus of Access 222 where I cover Action Queries. I see you've purchased this class (back in 2010).

I think I handled the archiving by date (not year), but that's just a matter of using the YEAR() function. If you want to export the data to an outside database, I would recommend just making a LINKED table.
