Form Caption from Recordset

Hello all. Is it possible to display a form caption based on fields populated through a VBA recordset? I have no problem doing so when the form's Record Source is a table. I created a form that essentially mirrors the workflow in Developer 18 Lessons 4 and 5. When my form loads it will properly display my caption for the first record in the recordset. As I page through the records however the form caption fails to update as expected. I am new to using recordsets and am finding a few issues converting my workflow. I think I am simply failing to properly reference my unbound fields that display the recordset results??

Any assistance would be appreciated.

Hi Kevin. I am, in fact, using the On Current event. The issue I was having was the caption remained static as I advanced through the records contained within the recordset. In Developer 18 Lessons 4 and 5 Richard showed how to make custom navigation buttons - I ended up solving my issue by creating a private subroutine for the desired caption display and then not only calling it for the On Current event (which only worked for the first record of the recordset) but also for the On Click event of each navigation button so that it properly updates to reflect whichever new record I have navigated to.
