Jump To List Items

I have a continuous form listing customers and was wondering of a way I can jump to areas on the list alphabetically?  I thought about making a query for each letter and then making a form with a tab control for each letter pointing to that query, but I'm sure there's probably an easier, better way?

Still learning.  Thanks!

What do you mean by "areas"?

you do not need create that many queries. let's find out what you need, and we will show you an elegant way to get there.

You just want to jump to or limit your list to a certain criteria right?

Any of these should cover that.

Good question. Someone else asked me a while back if it was possible to put little buttons representing the letters A through Z at the top of the form. Then you can click on that letter to go directly to it. This has been on my list to make a video for a while now. Hang in there, I've got something in the works.

In the meantime, stay away from tab controls. I hate them; they're evil.

Right now my form lists customers and I have a "select" button to put them in a query to print address labels (on a Dymo printer) for each one I select.  I'm thinking of what Richard was saying so my users can quickly navigate through the list.  I thought maybe a parameter query but instead of having to type in the parameter it would just be tied into button for that letter of the alphabet.

Thanks for the help.
